We are thrilled to announce a new CGOA initiative to support school crochet clubs across the country.
Every club has to start somewhere, and too often it starts with a passionate teacher and empty shelves. Our new pilot program removes that first hurdle by providing schools with an initial set of crochet supplies to get a club up and running. Each participating school receives a starter kit of crochet hooks along with skeins of yarn to welcome a first group of eager students.
Our very first partner school is in New Jersey, where a dedicated teacher reached out with a simple goal: to give her students the chance to learn a craft she first picked up herself at nine years old.
This is just the beginning. CGOA plans to deliver crochet supplies to many more schools, one club at a time.

Support CGOA
Programs like this are proof of what the Crochet Guild of America does best: growing our craft and passing it on to the next generation. Every hook and every skein we place in a student's hands is made possible by people who believe in that mission.
Your donation helps us reach the next teacher, the next classroom, and the next student waiting to discover the joy of crochet. Whether it's supplies for one more school club or support for the many other ways CGOA champions crocheters everywhere, your gift makes a real difference.
