PLEASE BE ON GUARD
PLEASE BE ON GUARD regarding false CGOA renewal notices.
Do not be fooled. It has come to our attention that a "renewal" notice has been mailed to CGOA members for a subscription to Crochet! magazine by a company called Publishers Billing Exchange.
PLEASE NOTE that this company is NOT - I repeat, NOT - affiliated in any way with CGOA. Nor is Publishers Billing Exchange affiliated with Crochet! magazine.
If you respond with a renewal order to Publishers Billing Exchange, thinking that you are renewing your CGOA membership and member subscription, you are wrong! We do not want you to be misled. CGOA wants to make sure that you don't pay for a renewal that doesn't include your full CGOA benefits!
Any true CGOA membership renewal notice will always state clearly that it is from CGOA.
If you have any question regarding your CGOA membership renewal status, feel free to contact CGOA@CGOA.com or call CGOA headquarters at 740-452-4541.

Local Chapters
Local chapters provide an opportunity for crocheters to get together with others in their area who share their love of crochet.
Chapter meetings are an opportunity for showing works in progress, for sharing information about local yarn and supply sources, for
workshops devoted to the mastery of new techniques. Chapters may sponsor classes in their community to teach crochet to young and old alike;
may contribute crocheted afghans and articles of clothing to local and/or national charities; and participate in local craft fairs and
exhibits.
